The team has been working hard preparing for the season. They looked sharp in the first half. It did not take the Dolphins long to post the first goal of the season. The goal came off the head of Vicente Ruiz in the first half. The dolphins won the possession battle for most of the game. A late flurry of attacks by Tesoro came a little too late, as the Dolphins held on to take their first win of the new season.
