Welcome parents! On this page you’ll find information pertaining to the DHHS, CUSD, and CIF policies for academic eligibility for all student-athletes. In addition, you can download forms needed for your student-athlete to participate as a member of a DHHS Soccer Team.

ACADEMIC ELIGIBILITY

Dana Hills High School follows two grading policies for athletic eligibility:

  • The Capistrano Unified School District’s policy states that the student-athlete must have a minimum of a 2.0 grade point average at the end of each semester.
  • The California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) states that the student-athlete must pass at least four classes at the end of each grading period.

ATHLETIC CLEARANCE

Student-athletes must complete the Athletic Clearance Packet prior to tryouts and participation in soccer activites:

Insurance: All students-athletes must show proof of insurance coverage to be eligible to compete.

Physical Examination: All students-athletes must show proof of a physical examination to be eligible to compete. You must have a physical for the current school year on file to compete this season.

Code of Ethics Form: All student-athletes are required to sign a District “Code of Ethics” form for standards of behavior.
